The President of the Republic meets with his Ugandan counterpart

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, met Sunday with his Ugandan counterpart, Mr. Yoweri Museveni who is on a state visit to Algeria.

Previously, the guest of Algeria was received by President Tebboune at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.

The Ugandan President had visited, in the morning, the Sanctuary of Martyrs (Algiers) where he deposited a wreath of flowers in front of the memorial stele and observed a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of the War of National Liberation. He also visited the Central Museum of the Army where he received detailed explanations on the different stages of the History of Algeria and the National Liberation War.
