Mr Boukadoum inaugurates Information and Investment and Export Promotion Office

Foreign Minister, Mr Sabri Boukadoum, on Thursday inaugurated the Information and Investment and Export Promotion Office in order to receive and support Algerian economic operators involved in export operations and foreign partnerships.

This is an office, at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), dedicated to national economic operators, including the Algerian community established abroad, wishing to carry out export operations or establish partnerships with foreign operators.

The objective of the office, which depends on the Department of Promotion and Support for Economic Exchanges of the Ministry, is to receive these operators to inform them on economic and commercial affairs.

“This approach aims to adapt the country’s diplomacy so as to achieve the objectives of successful economic recovery while creating a collaborative network involving Algerian diplomats around the world”, underlined Mr. Boukadoum during the inauguration ceremony which took place in the presence of several members of the government, representatives of financial institutions and foreign diplomats.

In addition, the MFA intends to launch an electronic portal dedicated to economic diplomacy on its website, allowing national economic operators to acquire information in the context of their export activities.
